Aer interface on Vista Basic?

I know it doesn`t come with it but can you download it from anywhere and does it work?

You can probably use a skin to emulate it but downloading something that you didn't pay for and using it is a no no

I'm not sure that is true. Wasn't there a recent thread about unlocking the Aero capability in Basic? Let me take a look.....

Personally i wouldn't bother with the hassle of finding it / unlocking it.
I've got Vista and tried the Aero scheme a couple of times and hated it on all occasions. It's slow and just a pointless visual add on.

Although saying that i don't even like the XP 'my first computer' scheme and set it to Windows Classic.

You can change it in the regedit to get aero up on basic but, if you edit the reg and you mess your system up, its nothing to do with me.
