Transferring debts to rightful owner

I have credit card debts in my name, which really belongs to a family member who is now struggling to meet the payments, is there a way I can have this debt transferred into their accounts/name?

No. They've been accrued in your name. You're liable.

The other person could apply for their own credit, although it sounds unlikely that they'll get it.

Alternatively you could pursue them through the courts for the cash. Even if you win, it doesn't guarantee you get the money back.
  • Thanks for that its just what I thought I know not to trust again.
