I've just ordered a Vonage connection (free UK calls 24/7) + free international calls to 68 countries for £11.20 a month + £5 delivery for the Vonage box.

Brilliant deal for me as my calls with Plusnet are £35 alone.

If you cancel within the first 30 days of service activation for any reason, through our Money Back Guarantee we will refund your activation, shipping, £23.99 disconnect fee, and the first month of service*. If you cancel after the first 30 days of service, you will be subject to the £23.99 disconnect fee.

**You must cancel your service within 30 days of the activation of your account, return your equipment within 14 days of cancellation and not exceed 500 minutes of usage in the first 30 days of service. You are responsible for any charges for overage, international or directory assistance calls. If you exceed 500 minutes, you will not be refunded for the first month of service. You are responsible for return shipping charges.

Ordered today, I'd been looking at Vonage on and off for the past couple of weeks, I've just gone with the standard £6 per month package for now as that suits my needs.

I've even just made a call from the mobile app over my Wifi so that's good as when my mobile contract end June / July time I'm moving over to pay as you go, having the app hooked up will save money there ringing landline numbers

I used their Extensions app for making a call home from the US a few months back (using Wi-Fi), and the quality was excellent...the missus has also used it over GSM from here to call the US (we're on the unlimited US calls package) and she said the quality was good too.

The Vonage box arrived today, i've plugged it in and given it a go, all works perfectly. If I have no issues with it over the course of this week I'm going to cancel my landline altogether and just use this one instead, got a shiny new phone number on it too so won't be getting any telesales calls for a long long time

Quick update - I've been with Vonage for six months, no complaints. Call quality is very good and the ability to check voicemails etc online is an added bonus.

I received my Topcashback and £70 giftcard so all in it's going to cost me almost nothing for the year.

Have read a few horror stories about cancelling but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it! :rotfl:
