Waterbirth Pool Hire (Administration)

Hi all,


I am helping to try and oversee the hire of waterbirth pools for a friend and was hoping that I may get some help concerning pool hire tracking/finance tools.
They sourced the pools after an initial fund raising event(s). They have 16 pools at present and the pools are hired out for a price that covers costs, plus a little extra to source new pools, but no payment is made to members.
I need to find a good tool that will help me control the end to end process for admin of hire (deposit/pool tracking/hirer details etc). Does anyone know of anything that I can use for free?
Any help is appreciated.

    You could use a spreadsheet - Excel is good or you could create your own form in Word or set up a database using something like Excel or even Access.

    I am happy with using databases and spreadsheets, my issue is setting them up. I would appreciate someone that may have something that I can adapt and use.

    Something like this? Forget that they're birthing pools, they're short term hire agreements much like any other - site plant or video cassettes. The problems have all been solved before, and managing the demographic, historic and transactional details over time is one of those jobs that sounds easy at first but can get more complicated over time.
