Just spoken to the company and they are not willing to fax my bank with the auth number. Apparently they are saying the auth number from my bank relates to a payment of £154 and they feel that if they use the code this will then refund me for the goods I have received, which is obviously not what I want I just want the original £204 authorised hold to be lifted and they say they can't do this...complete joke. So yet again back to square one
I can't see why that authorisation for the rest of the funds cannot be lifted if the payment for the goods that you recieved have left your account already. Your bank have essentially ring-fenced the money in a holding account until said money is released, or is not collected. Annoying as it is, you could just wait 3-5 days for the money to 'go back in to your account'.

I will just wait and see what happens now. I guess what is frustrating me more is that I have no control over my money and neither the bank or the company will accept responsibility as to why this has happened or even try to help resolve it!!
