I have been looking into an off shore Regular Saver account with AMICUS invest. The option im looking at is the 3 year term giving an 8% return. This seemd too good to be true.
Has anyone had any dealings with this company?

Never heard of them.Payments can be made in all major currencies. Interest payable is the same despite of the currency choice.Amicus Investment Ltd does not have office in Switzerland or offer any investment services in or from Switzerland.Amicus Investment Ltd

Where are they really based?Amicus Investment Ltd’s office is located in the premises of Trust Company Complex, Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, Majuro, Marshall Islands MH96960.

If it looks to good to be true it probably is.Are you covered by any statutory or governmental Investors Protection Scheme?
Amicus Investment Ltd invests its funds further to Amicus Global Income Fund (AGIF). The underlying investment portfolio is well diversified between various asset classes and it has a long-term solid performance. The Fund’s risk profile is balanced with expectation of average annual net return between 8-12% in 5 years investment horizon. Based on this Amicus Investment Ltd is able to guarantee the agreed fixed returns to its clients investing into Amicus Guaranteed Investment Agreements. We are not covered by any Investors Protection Scheme as such.
I also like:How is Amicus Global Income Fund regulated?
Amicus Global Income Fund Ltd (AGIF) is registered in The Republic of Liberia as a single investor fund according to its rules. The registration No. is C-116639. Amicus Investment Ltd is the only investor in AGIF on behalf of its clients.
We have a Liberian registered company based in a group of islands in the middle of the Pacific with a population smaller than Hemel Hempstead, using a Swiss address and promising guaranteed returns five times the market norm with no investor protection underpinning those guarantees and delivering those returns in the currency of your choice regardless of exchange rate risks.

These were exactly the concerns that I had. You can't pin them down and are not regulated. I'll look elsewhere. Many thanks.0

who for no extra charge added my name and address to a suckers list.
because scammers and spammers are not quite the same thing, even though they sound very similar.
Oh when did you both become so cynical?
I was hoping Nn would stay a little longer so he could take over my computer and fix it for me, before helping me with that transfer from Nigeria and the multiple PPI and personal injury payments to which I'm apparently entitled0 -
