I've ordered the £3 paypal option but am still not quite sure how it's going to arrive! The confirmation was all about posting and leaving it with my neighbours if I'm not not in!

ah they may send it to you in luncheon vouchers then.

you can use luncheon vouchers in loads of shops. I use mine in iceland, sainsburys, asda, boots, tesco. mcdonalds take them. there is a long list on their website. I dont always use on food ;) just make sure a food item included.

otherwise make sure you opt for paypal

    Thanks Aesop and starnac

Yes, I admit it, I did think you had to buy lunch with them. I had no idea so many places took them...:o (another embarrassed face...need to get with it!)

I've recently started being paid via PayPal instead of Luncheon Vouchers, and always get that confirmation. I think it's just a catch-all 'you have ordered an item' message that doesn't take into account that not all their items are physical! I expect they get a lot of enquiries about it from confused users. All that happens after the message is shown is that I get a payment notification from PayPal (usually the next day) telling me that Pinecone have just sent me £3.00.

I expect they get a whole lot more enquiries from confused users trying to get that far in the first place. It took me quite a while to figure out the process outlined by Aesop earlier - it must be one of the least intuitive things I've ever seen on a website. At least we can tell the tax office the money isn't classed as earnings. It must be a 'gift', because Pinecone say so :)

  • Hi folks. How can I make sure I'm subscribed to April please? I haven't been great this month and think next month probably even worse but I want to make sure I keep subscribed to this thread, it keeps me looking for all the ways I can make extra. (And I can pay it off my debts on the PAD)
    Thank you. :)
