Just two squid to add today.

Had a bit of a 'me' day (apart from shopping yuk ! ) and had an easy dinner. Just felt I needed a bit of a break from the daily grind so as to speak :rotfl:

Great to see so many people doing well again this month - long may it continue. I know that without this thread I wouldn't have pushed myself to make as much as I have over the months and MSE has certainly helped me to save money as well

    So it's a bit of a Win/Win for me anyway :j

Hope you all have a marvellous Monday

£17 from 2 mystery shops yesterday.
  • £13.67 from eBay after fees, ten pence that I found rattling around last night in a box that was dragged down from the loft to package a sold item in, plus 62p from the A$da Price Guarantee - amounting to £14.39 I can add to my total.

I've met my March target! :j

Also pleased to see £4.17 appear in my bank account this morning, 'generously' refunded by NPower, but not counting it towards the total as it would have shown up whether I was participating in the challenge or not.

Normally NPower are hovering right at the top of my 'robbing barstewards' hit list, but since yesterday afternoon the Royal Mail have emerged as clear front-runners. I took a parcel to the Post Office to be told it would cost £13.35 to send instead of the anticipated £5.60, so I took it back home instead and weighed and measured it. I found that it was just 40g over in weight and a fraction of a centimetre over in height, so I opened it up, trimmed a bit off the packaging and resealed it so it was within the limits. The Royal Mail thought they were going to charge me £7.75 to deliver the four flaps that close a cardbox box. Unreal.

Anyway, back at it now - more packing and post-officing to do. Good luck with the job interview, Lynn :)

£6 from doing 2 surveys, I don't usually do these but I'm motivated to earn the last £30 for this month. This challenge has definitely helped me stay a bit more solvent over the last few months.

I'm now going to chase up a couple of refunds that I'm owed, hope I can get one by the end of month.
