It really bugs me that eBay feeds and paypal fees go hand in hand. I think that paypal should offer a discount for eBay sellers. We are already paying eBay feed for not only the final amount, but also the postage amount. Then paypal fees on top?

That said, paypal do offer a great service. If I withdraw the money, it is in my bank instantly.

I know just what you mean. It's eBay's taking a cut of our postage charge that annoys me the most though. If you list an item on auction that weighs more than 1kg then you have to add an amount to P+P that makes your postage charge look astronomical if you're to guarantee that you at least break even if your item only sells for 99p. Why should eBay profit just because an item needs a bigger or heavier box?! The other thing that needles me is the rule that prevents a seller from leaving negative feedback for a buyer. Consequently, I hardly ever leave any kind of feedback at all now, positive or negative, regardless of whether I'm buying or selling. I know that probably sounds bad, but participating in something so blatantly one-sided just feels all wrong.

Unlike eBay, PayPal has improved quite a bit since I first started using them (although I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed the charges :) ). Having the money appear in my bank account instantly after withdrawal is wonderful compared to a few years ago when we still had to wait 5 working days for it to appear. I can remember once when I sold a bunch of stuff on eBay because I was skint, then found myself in a situation where it would be almost a week before money would show up and I could afford to post it. Lovely. I managed to cobble the cash together from somewhere, but I think I ate budget brand cheese triangles on toast for a week :)

Admittedly, I don't withdraw often. I use my PayPal Mastercard at the supermarket or Post Office or wherever to pay for stuff and so the money never sees my bank account a lot of the time. It just goes straight from my PayPal account to wherever I'm spending the money. I wouldn't use it to withdraw cash because of the associated charges, but it really used to bug me that such things were only available to PayPal users in America and it's my most favouritest (shut up spellchecker - I'm telling you it's a word) PayPal development in recent years.

    £1.85 ebay profit
£125.28 cheque from fluke bingo winnings arrived today :D

Managed to get 9 more items listed on ebay over the weekend. Hadn't realised it doesn't end until tomorrow so will aim to get another 3 things listed on there tomorrow after work.

Added 40p to my onepoll account after a couple of quick surveys. Not had anything from the shy forest people for AGES. Hope everyone is doing OK.

    I've added:

£40 for selling phone to friend, waaaay lower than it could have been but this is someone that has given me a lot of help over the years.

60p from a few old items at our local version of Cash for Clothes.

17p (added not spent) in nectar points from doing adpoints yesterday.

13p from Qmee, was searching for women's black swimming costume on eBay -- because I'm selling one.

Fingers crossed for plenty more to add this month, I still have various bits pending. Got some MS money due at end of month, 16 things listed on eBay, I reckon about 10 may not sell! Debating car boot this weekend -- I think this could become a pattern!

I bought two notebooks in Mr T with hearts on for DD for uni, should have been £6 each but went through at 1p. I guess they were left over valentines stuff.
