Strange happening. Went to do a MS last week and place is closed and moved into another street. Took a picture of both (to cover myself if nec) and reported not able to visit as closed and did they want me to visit new shop. Mail back from my manager that the client says the shop 'still there' and detailing the neighbouring shops, and manager says do I still want to do visit !? Have sent him the two pictures and he says he will get back to me :rotfl: what a shower.

Had nice surprise of £5 award for my contributions to a forum and another £1 from surveys. Small MS to do tomorrow (hope they still there haha).

Hope you all have a topper of a Thursday

    Hi everyone,

I found a New Thing! Someone I follow on Twitter introduced me to Bubblews. Basically, you can write up to 10 posts a day (over 400 characters. So far I've seen people writing everything from their day to Bible quotes!) and comment, "like" and connect with other posters. Payout is at $50, which the person on Twitter can reach weekly. I'm hoping to get to $50 by next Friday. It has a massive user base, I've found posting during the week is more profitable than during the weekend.

I've made a post on the sausage thread, if anyone would like one then let me know ;) No bacon though.

  • I'm so sorry to hear about your dog, Mrs Cautious. It must be 17 years since I lost mine, but I still miss her and think of her often. I promise that it does get easier - the hurt will not last forever and one day soon you will be able to think of your dog with only joy in your heart because you were so lucky to have had her in your life at all. Big (((hugs))) to you and anyone else dealing with the recent loss of a furry friend.

Back to the challenge, I can report another £1.69 from eBay, £5.10 from Crowdology, £3.00 from Pinecone and £1.24 from the A$da Price Guarantee (I found my lost receipt in my purse - it was in there all the time, hiding in a bunch of Post Office receipts). A lot of things seemed to bear fruit at once today and so I'm not expecting too much more for a few days, but I'm happy to know I can add £11.03 to my sig now.

My husband does a lot of competitions and goes after many a freebie, and yesterday gave me a Stanley 'Gold' tape measure that had dropped through the letterbox, saying that I could have it to list on eBay if I wanted it (so romantic :D ). These things are just gold-coloured metal produced to celebrate Stanley's 50th anniversary.

I looked on the site to see what they were going for and smiled on seeing one listed at £999.99, because years ago when I was a volume seller I often used automation software that would make mistakes like that which I didn't catch. Then I had a look at 'Completed Items' and saw that the tape measures had actually been selling for a fiver or so.

Not to mention another one listed for £999.99

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stanley-5m-Powerlock-Tape-Measure-Gold-Limited-Edition-0-33-361-STHT0-33361-/310707795746?pt=UK_Measuring_Tools_Levels&hash=item4857a0b722

According to the listing, the seller has sold 49 of them. I can't imagine that he's found so many buyers daft enough to believe that these things are real gold, so there's definitely something very glitchy going on here somewhere :rotfl:

    Hi all

life is way too busy for me at the moment.

I have really enjoyed running the thread and trying to keep everyone motivated, and suggesting ways to raise more money, and reminding you of free listing days on ebay :rotfl: but I really can't keep it up anymore.

So would anyone like to take over the thread from April?

PM me and I will talk to those who request it and decide on someone to take over keeping everyone motivated and moneymaking :D
