Letter Before Action from Parking Eye and Debt Recovery Plus

Hello
I am writing to ask for some advice because I have received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus demanding £150 otherwise they will recommend to the creditors solicitor that court action should be taken to recover what I owe after responding to a Letter Before Action from Parking Eye naming the driver and saying that 'I have discharged my liability in accordance with the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 therefore this matter is now closed' and If you continue with your claim against me I will defend it in full'. Why have Debt Recovery Plus wrote to me again after I have sent this letter to PE instead of Parking Eye taking me to court as I thought this would be their next step after sending me a LBA? Does this mean that I could get another LBA from Parking Eye? I'm very confused now so would appreciate any advice you can offer.
