Finding old CCJ info

Stupid question time...
Is it possible to find info on old CCJs, past 6 years old? Long story short, I had a bit of an illness years back now which rendered me pretty much useless to the world so my memories of this period are fuzzy at best. I had debt, which was all paid off over time, and I have vague recollections of people mentioning court but I don't know if anything ever went to court. All of this was well over 6 years ago, doesn't appear on any credit search and doesn't appear on a search on trust-online either. Being in the useless state I was as well, I have no paperwork on any of these debts.
I want to try and find out if I did have anything recorded against me as I'm a bit worried about the 'have you ever had a CCJ' question

Yeah, there's nothing on trust-online on any of my addresses (old or present) - just wondering when it comes to a mortgage application if I can trust the online checks.... I mean, last thing I want to do is commit fraud by answering 'no' to that question on CCJs (in good faith) when it's not true0

There is no requirement for you to unknowingly incriminate yourself - just like the (criminal) Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, once it becomes 'spent' that's an end of the matter unless there is a stated exception.
Less serious issues - like you describe (a piddling CCJ) expires as it would be unreasonable for it not to. As all official records are blocked by the DPA after 6 years, no commercial entity can justify seeking to do an end run and hope for self-incrimination!
In the current climate, if they cannot access the information they seek there is nothing you need do to provide them with information they cannot even verify!0
