I got shafted by TDS because they ignored everything I said and the circumstances and just looked at the checkin inventory, and the checkout inventory. Therefore it's likely that if they do not have a checkin inventory they are royally screwed.

I'd file a dispute explaining that all of the charges are bogus and you were never given a check-in inventory nor signed one or anything like that. Then TDS will hopefully do to them what they did to me.

I had my email today saying that the dispute had been received and everyone was given 10 days to respond.
As my husband and I were both named on the tenancy we are separate parties so at the moment we can see the original complaint in my husbands name and will be able to view any responses from letting agent, if there is one.

Time to feel brave and wait the longest 10 days ever lol. Thank you everyone who has responded, the support has been just what we needed.
