Hi all,
I was looking for some advice/suggestions if you'd all be so kind!
Next week i'm heading off to the USA for a month or two and after that up to Canada on the IEC work visa for a year and was looking at the best options in terms of cash withdrawals without taking out a credit card. I'm currently with HSBC (debit card) and have been looking at taking out and pre-loading one of travelex's multi-currency cards so I will be able to withdraw money in both US and Canadian dollars whilst over there without getting stung the usual fees!
Any suggestions? If I do take it out would it be best to pre-load with GBP?
Thanks in advance!!

I have the Globe card and it's been brilliant, but I think the terms under which I took out mine change in late 2012, so it may not be as good as it was.
Regarding fee-free cash withdrawals, I'm pretty sure that varies from machine to machine, as I think it's the cashpoint operators (usually banks) that charge the fees rather than Travelex. You can sometimes track down lists of the free cashpoints online if you search.0
