  • Another £3 paid off Virgin credit card on 3 April and I'm whacking a load of stuff on Ebay today so will hopefully make a little bit there too.
  • So it's pay day which means payment day; £85.25 paid off catalogue, £32.72 off Natwest credit card, £20 off Capital One Credit card and £160.83 off Virgin credit card. Always feels good to make payments and see the balance creeping downwards :)
  • Since I last posted I have paid the following: Catalogue - £85.28
    Loan - £98.78
    Natwest CC £32.72
    Virgin CC - £180
    Capital One CC - £20

    Getting there slowly.........
  • I didn't post after last months pay day, so will list two months of payments this month instead:

    Catalogue 2 x payments of £85.28 made
    Loan 2 x payments of £98.78 made
Natwest CC 2 x payments of £32.72 made
    Virgin CC 1 x £20, 1 x £72 and 1 x £80 payments made
Capital One CC 2 x £20 payments made

Debts are really starting to come down now and I am very focused in getting rid of this debt, I love feeling like I'm back in control of it. I'm excited to see my loan under £1000 and one more payment and the catalogue will be too. I'm just anxious to get rid of them completely so I can start saving. I'm sure we all feel like that.
  • Okay, I've finally been able to sort out a debt free date.... it's August / September 2015, although I will aim for the August which is just a year away. Seems like a long time, but I'm determined and I will do it. This time next year I will be two weeks away from being debt free and starting to save for a deposit for a house!! :)
  • Haven't posted in a while so my debts have come down a fair bit, so nice to see. Since my last entry I have made the following payments:

Catalogue - made £485.28 in payments
Loan - made £395.12 in payments
Natwest CC - made £311.84 in payments
Virgin CC - made £870 in payments
Capital One CC - made £60 in payments

All the above is around the space of four months. Very proud of myself and how well I am paying my debts off. By early next year - March / April time I will have most of my debts cleared and should hopefully (if all goes to plan) only have one left :)
  • It's been around a year since I first decided I want to be debt free and I am so pleased with how well I have done. Most of my debts will be paid off by the end of March / April which is just 3 / 4 pay days away, which will just leave me with one (much more manageable). So excited to start saving up for a house :)
