It makes no difference anymore as FVFs are charged on the postage element.
Of course it does. If I sell something for £10 and free postage, Ebay gets £1.
If I sell something for £10 and £5 postage, Ebay gets £1.50.
If I sell something for £10 and get somebody to pay £10 postage, Ebay gets £2.

Feedback is for what this is for. If you're not happy, you leave him neg and say exactly why!

I was happy with the item and was only displeased in the service used to deliver it. I left positive feedback. I feel negative was uncalled for. Most of the people I buy or sell to have good feedback as it is usually classic cars, bikes and parts we deal in . My feedback is all positive at 1500 +

Soolin meant if its £10 with free &p - the fees are now the same as £5 with £5 p&p.

In other words - no point putting all the price onto the postage anymore.

Why would you 'guess' this, when Royal Mail rates & sizes are on open display on their website?

I had printed off the details on the website, but the measurements didn't tally when I got to the post office, all is well now anyway

I don't pack anything until it sells - so i have guessed EVERY SINGLE postage price since 1999.

    It pretty easy really.

Surprisingly, I've noticed fewer listings with free postage after ebay started charging FVF on postage...

But then listings with postage charges seem to get bid up to the same amount as those with free postage

That's odd, ebay statistics , well at least the ones they send out to business customers with shops, show a marked increase.

On my business account 99% of my goods are now free postage purely to qualify for the TRS discount, and I rarely come across any of my competitors that charge postage seperately.
