Hi All,
In 2011 my wife was on Maternity leave, whilst in a conversation with MINT they asked her if she wished to reduce the payment over the period of a few months while she was on a lower income, she thought why not it isnt doing any harm and was actually paying off just slightly less a month. After checking her credit file recently as she has had a mortgage agreed in principle we noticed Mint had actually defaulted her? The status shows AP for three months then a red default? We dont understand this as she was continuing to meet payments arranged with the lender and not once was a default mentioned to her?? Can someone offer some advice?
Thanks

Complain to Mint that you were not sent a default letter warning you that was going to happen. Tell them that unless they take they default off you will be taking them to the FOS and ICO.Still rolling rolling rolling......

You should have been warned in writing and given a chance to bring payments back up to date.Still rolling rolling rolling......

As Rizla says. Complain, in writing. If you need to refer to FOS, can take months.:beer:0
