My wife is going to be made redundant, how much notice does she have to be given?

Does she have a contract of emloyment ? It's all in there. Could be a week, could be a month, could be 3 months. (My last redundancy was 3 months notice, but we were escorted from the building, and paid as normal for the 3 months, and then those that were entitled to redundancy also got their payment).
I went self employed 4 weeks later, so didn't need to turn a profit for 2 months.0 -
Minimum notice is 1 week per full year service at the date of notice(min 1 week) , contractual if more.
Statutory service period for redundancy is based on the date of termination or the date that statutory notice would add to the date of notice, which ever is the later.0
