Finding out current student loan

Hi, my term address is different to my home address so I do not have access to the paperwork that was sent to me at the beginning of the academic year which had all of the loan details from this year on it.
In hindsight, it was a bad idea to leave it at home but as it was my second year I was told I didn't need to bring it with me this year so I opted to leave it at home where it was safer.

But now I am confused as to how much loan I am getting - I thought it was X amount but after looking over my bank account the payments do not add up (and will not add up) in April to the amount I had in mind. Do payments carry on after April?

And the main question here; is there a way to find out your requested loan amount via any of the student loan sites or by ringing up etc.?

Many thanks

Yes you can call them. Don't hold your breath for anything writing, we've been waiting 8 weeks!! They will confirm your loan details verbally though.

Why not get somebody at home to either look at the paperwork that you left behind or post it to you?

Theres no one currently at home for a while for me to check - I emailed SAAS this morning and I have taken X amount out but I am still due to get around £1000 even though theres only 2 months left…

I don't really know whats happened here.

I rang up the SLC and I've got the full story and I feel a lot better about my money :'D
I was budgeting for a third of what I expected, so all's good.
