Radio code problem
I have an annoying problem with my 6000CD Transit radio.
I have just recently replaced the battery, and now the radio requires the code to be re-input. I have the code number from my Ford handbook. But when I put the code in, the radio counts down from 30 minutes to zero and then asks for the code again.
I am now up to the 6th input and I will get locked out on the 10th time. I have got the serial number off the side of the radio which is M373980, and the code from the Ford audio book is 2979 but just will not work. Could the number have been recorded incorrectly in the book? I have followed the instruction from the book to the letter. Would any member be able to advise me please. Thanks
