[JSA] Sanction reversed!
Obscure
I had my JSA sanctioned on 8th January for failing to attend an interview with an advisor -- This sanction was overturned today as I had not received any appointment to which they finally admitted to the independent decision maker.
I'm now intending to complain as I am genuinely unhappy with how they treat me and I'm actually waiting to hear of a new decision about a sanction as I failed to sign on last week (12th) as I attended an interview instead which was arranged on the morning when I was due at the Job Centre on the same afternoon.
During my sanction I have picked up bank charges which I would not have picked up if I'd received payment, my parents have paid these charges thankfully. I read that you may get a special payment if you’ve experienced unfair treatment or suffered financially.
My question is; would bank charges be reimbursed if I were to complain, they're already technically covered but I would hope to refund my parents.
On another note, I start a new job next week -- I don't have to face any more appointments.

In principle yes - if through their maladministration you have lost out, you can apply for compensation.0
