Have received a notice from the above company stating that £100 is now due today
A further £205 will be due This is made up from £70 county court summons, and judgement enforcement of £135 and £30 debt recovery costs
I have asked for a POPLA code but not sure what I am meant to do with this once I have one
This seems like a bit of a sham of a company - no official letterhead (just printed on plan paper) and sent in a handwritten envelope.
What should be my best course of action?
The ticket cites that the vehicle was parked in direct contravention to this company's wishes and the notice was issued for damaged incurred whilst the driver trespassed on land under their control. I have asked for photographic evidence to be sent. Apparently my opportunity to pay £100 is diminishing fast and my failure to act will result in the debt being sold to a 3rd party.
Thanks in advance for any help

I have just received photographic evidence but the date on the photo is different to that on the notice. Would this make a difference?0

you need to read the newbie stickies on this board, tells you all you need to know.
Photographic stuff is irrelevantProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
Hi
Thanks for this. I am still awaiting my POPLA code but from looking at the photo the vehicle was parking in a turning bay that had double yellow lines, however, on one side the line is only a single line as the paint has become work. Do you think this could be a fair challenge to the ticket?0 -
if its private land I hardly think its relevant
either you were trespassing, or you werent
private land isnt subject to the same regulations as the public roads or council car parks0 -
Thats all completely irrelevant, if you had read the popla link on the sticky you would understand thisProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0

you wont get a popla code either, UKPS are in the IPC !0
-
I did read the POPLA link but couldnt see how any of the appeals related to the case I am facing. Im not sure what to do now. Is there anyway I can challenge this?
Thank you0 -
the IPC are quite new so you wont find much info about appealing this
what we do know is listed in this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822 in post #3
you are the one who mentioned asking for a popla code in post #1
popla codes are for the BPA , not the IPC, so you clearly did not check which organisation UKPS belong to0 -
They are a member of the BPA which I thought is how I appeal on a POPLA?0
-
I did clearly check, and even have their membership number hence asking for a POPLA code. Even have their membership number and phone BPA to check also0
