Lost my receipt!!

Less than 7 days ago I bought a new hair appliance from Boots, this morning on its 2nd use it blew up in my hand! I have looked everywhere and I cannot find my credit card receipt. It wasnt the only item I bought at the time so my credit card bill will not show the exact cost of the item. I have contacted Babyliss and await a response but would like to know beforehand where I stand?
