Gosh - Trubster you're right - that was overlooked -

I didn't even click on that Pay and Display tab - that is gold-dust for any appeal - I've just taken a downloaded screenshot!:D

He certainly won't be a happy bunny at POPLA appeals even more now!

That website is so full of holes and inuendos it's unbelievable! They also consider it not a consideration for an appeal that the machines are broken and you cannot pay - yet it is their responsibility to instal and maintain the machines.....

To be fair 4CR, ALL PPC's use this model, but this is the only one stupid enough to post it on their own web site!

Any sites in the midlands that this lot run - PLEASE PM ME!

There are others just as dumb - found several including:

UKPC also published it on their website they make all their revenue from parking charges, offer their services free and a 10% back-hander on charges collected. I took great pleasure in including it in an appeal in September - UKPC just bottled out and did not send any evidence. (screenshots also saved here)

So prankster has picked up on this now, I suggest people take screenshots of the discussions if they want to keep proof, as it's likely the bpa will block access, or delete the whole discussion.

I just posted this on the Linkin BPA thread. I doubt it will get published though as they didn't publish my previous message:)

"Oh, woe is the private parking industry. Whinge whinge, moan moan. If you are looking for sympathy you will find it in the dictionary between s hit and syphilis."

Looks like someone is a member of the group, and posted this :)
Have you ever though that maybe the charges you're charging are just too high and disproportionate to the "crime" the motorist is making?

10 mins overstay - £60-£100? No wonder people look for the real reasons behind these charges and have learnt the game. Your loss isn't £100... Don't pass your business costs on to us... We didn't employ you, so why should we, the motorist, pay you an extortionate sum of money?

It's legal robbery really. But hey, all you care about is fleecing the customer because of "your livlihoods". How about it takes two to tango... Whilst I don't go out to "break the rules", it's inevitable for some. Poorly designed signs which flout the rules are one of the reasons people hate PPCs and it's a valid reason for why people will appeal. Not like it's worth doing to the actual company, as none of them care about the circumstances, just the wonga lining their pockets.

Of course, feel free to correct me.

    And this
It seems the cat is well and truely out the bag, its for pure profit this so called parking enforcement!

I see that none of the PPCs or the BPA have bothered to respond to the last two posts on that discussion. I wonder why?
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
