Well done. What are you doing now? Buying again? Or renting?

Renting at the minute. Needed to relocate from wales to Scotland. Will take us a good while to save up a deposit again as stumping up the difference in negative equity has wiped out our savings.0

Well good luck
Probably better off renting for now anyway. Maybe even go on the social housing list when you get to Scotland. Can't hurt. If you decide to buy again in X amount of years, then fine, but it would be good to have a choice. If you're on the social housing list, then you can build up some waiting time while you decide what to do.

Don't look at it as making a £13k loss. If it was a house that you lived in, work out how much it would have cost you to rent a similar house during the years you lived there.
Chances are you'd have paid out a heck of a lot more than £13k & even if you wouldn't have, deducting possible rental costs from the £13k should leave you with less of a loss'The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
