Some tw comps do say 1 tweet only will be counted others daily others multiple (but lets be honest how many of us bother even reading t&cs in tw)
Thats why i pretty much literally do the retweet and follow then move on to next comp, if however i stumble upon by accident the next day i may retweet again, but never do these daily rts
Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:
  • There was a twitter comp last week by River Island where you had to tweet a hashtag. It ran for a 2 hour period and the winner just tweeted constantly for the whole 2 hours, each time with a slight variation, even tweeting 'my fingers are hurting!' 'don't know how long I can keep this up' etc...

She won £250 vouchers but I bet her followers weren't very happy!!

lol dont go on groups like winners circle that will really pee you off, the same ladies winning agagin and again and again, And expecting to win and moaning if they aint won for a week! They pee me off how they just enter for everything going (not that i want to win a cup or soap, or a cake or apron etc) and if it isnt the same name its slightly different surname ie..di88es/ad88es/mic888les/l8zs/ just picked them names at random btw, its so weird and the other thing i notice is some fb profiles who dont have a single photo??? Espec that woman from up geordie land who i know won at least 4 ipads last year and uses them to comp so why no pic (i do actually have a pic of her i found once, yak i could see why she doesnt use a photo, just anime characters)???
99% of them have ipads or webcams as they all win huge prizes regular?????
    'Rhymes with 'fleeting' maybe???

But at the end of the day i dont usually ever look at these sites or iwiw very much, and with what ive won over the last 8 months im happy if theyre happy winning little things, but personally i dont even enter for virtually anything under £50 (unless its something cool i want, or my oh might want, im very select, and as long as you dont mind not winning weekly it certainly can pay off)

A single tweet for each comp, there's far too many to keep going back to them :)

  • I just do the one; interesting to read others comments but after reading this, over 4000 tweets without a win I'm doubting whether its worth it as it doesnt seem like you have much of a chance the way some play it. I'm not saying its wrong necessarily but it seems the odds are stacked somewhat.:(
  • I do just the one and am also getting more choosy what i enter these days having seen so many fake comps about especially on facebook.
My son who never normally enters comps had a fab on Tuesday and won a gaming headset this was on twitter and there were over 1,700 retweets so he did brilliantly and that was off one tweet. I don't think he has entered more than about half a dozen comps ever as comping doesn't interest him but it is nice to see that he will now try if he sees a comp on twitter. They have all been gaming comps that he has entered too as that is what interests him the most.
  • I can offer some of my tips

    I only retweet once normally

enter near the end of a competition - so on a friday I enter the ones ending at 5pm betwen 4.30 and 4.45pm

This seems to bring me a lot of luck
Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!
