Can people give their experiences of the Adaptil diffuser please? More for stressed/anxious dogs than noise reactive ones please

It made my anxious dog worse (the spray version anyway) but her anxiety turned out to be related to hypothyroidism. It had no effect on my other (non-anxious) dog

I used one for my epileptic Golden Retriever. No effect at all apart from making the underside of a kitchen cupboard greasy.

We went to see a behaviourist earlier this week and she recommended the collar over the diffuser. Reason being that this is with the dog at all times so will continuously affect them where the plug in will only work if they are near it.

I got one with the aim of helping new rescue dogs to settle in. They settled in roughly the amount of time I'd have expected them to without the plugin. I think the only effect was that somebody got about £40 of my money!
