Hi all
My boyfriend and I moved into our home in January. After being sent on a wild goose chase we eventually established that our existing energy supplier is Scottish Power. We've set up with then, paid the bill etc. we have received numerous letters from Spark Energy, the first one said something along the lines of "your account with be active from 14th February". My boyfriend phoned them and they said that it was in our rental agreement with the estate agent that we have to use them. My boyfriend told them it's not, we've been advised Scottish power are our supplier and we're up and running. Boyfriend phoned estate agent who confirmed we can use whatever supplier we like, he would email spark and then ring us back. We haven't heard anything from the estate agent yet but we've since had another letter saying that we've not set up a direct debit and we should if we want the prices they're offering.
My query is do we need to actually do anything more or are they going to end up sending us a massive bill?
Thanks
P.S Apologies for any spelling or grammatical errors as I'm tying this on a phone!
