Still horrible out there, pah! I’m at work again, so no OS for me. DD1 (5) is at a playdate and I thought DD2 (3) would kick off when DD1 was picked up. Apparently my mum suggested going to the shops (just to get her out of the house as she was predicting the tantrum as well) and DD2 turned round and said, “Nah, it’s raining, I’ll watch telly.”

Ah well, maybe thinking things are going to be worse than you hope for is the way to go!

Last night’s dinner was supposed to be sausages and pasta, but ex decided he wanted girls for dinner, so now the sausages have been moved to tonight’s dinner.

NMLC – thank you so much, you reminded me that I have to buy bread flour on the way home from work! Phew. I don’t buy bread any more and really don’t make that much as girls just seem to eat crackers. And I only ever seem to eat bread when at work, but I always like to have the ingredients just in case.

Know what you mean about the top up shops. I try and only go to the supermarket when my girls are at their dads every other weekend and then I do an online shop every month or so to get the big things.

I don't know if Princess Molly could be persuaded that offal is a treat, and should be snaffled up with gusto?
    Meanwhile, I'll send virtual tummy-rubs.:o

Years and years ago, when I was still married to XH, I had a whopping ganglion on my left wrist, and was told by the Doc that they didn't treat them, they just left them to take their course. I didn't have a bible, so I walloped it with XH's American Football encyclopaedia. It got rid of it!! DISCLAIMER: I am not suggesting IM should take this course of action.

 Fried, boiled or roast??:D Sorry - my warped sense of humour. I'll get my coat.......

Haha, lamewolf. Well they came back after having no bath, so he didn't put them in any water!

Just remembered something that me and the girlies spent a bit of time doing the other day. I only wanted to do one, but I feel sorry for my poor dog now! The girls have temporary tattoos (the ones that you put on with water) and I had the great idea that wouldn't it be funny to put one on the dog. So we did, and the girls think it is the best thing ever. And all they want to do is put temp tattoos on her now, oops.

    Afternoon all,

Hugs and spoons to all havig trouble with health, children, partners, pets or money.

Busy house here at present with noisy grandchildren who are here for the week, some accompanied by their even noisier parents.....its wonderful to see them but must admit that the occasional break, as now, recharges the batteries!

The last couple of days have been nice weather.....we had 10c yesterday, there was rain earlier but sun is shining now.....snowdrops and wallflowers are in bloom, so all looking more cheerful.

Dinner tonight will be pork chops with veg and spuds in some form, there is cake and other rubbish around, so that will be pudding

    Stay safe and well

    LW, love your humour.
Molly, I hope Molly dog feels better soon.
Well it's been a day and a half here today, I had a visit from a friend who'd been to Drs/opticians on Tuesday & been told she has a hole in her macular, no other info was given & she's not slept since as she assumed she'd go blind imminently. I managed to calm her down & cheer her up, we googled the problem & she now realises it's nowhere near as bad as she assumed.
After all my visitors had gone I pootled up to the charity shops & managed to buy a summer dress for £3 & a couple of books for the DGC, 3 of them are avid readers & I like to get books when I can & they are all reduced at the moment.
    Hugs Hester
