Asda might say that P.eye are a aw unto themselves, is Linda going to confirm that in writing?

She may do but then on this occasion the problem was with Smart Parking - the well known oxymoron.

This bears out my own observations of the "attendants" in the very same car park. Were SP ever to issue proceedings then they would be utterly unable to show that they had mitigated any losses with their "staff" skulking in the shadows watching for people who miss the signs to P&D (refund at the tills), wait for them to walk into the store and then pounce.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
  • No, but she rang me back twice to confirm she was doing it, then that she had done it and she rang the other women and told them the same, so at this stage I shall take it on trust however should anything come through the post about it, I will pursue it further.

    Sorry my mistake.
