Probably a silly question ... but

Probably a silly question ... but

I need to ask so I am hoping someone can help me out!

I have recently (in the last month) applied for the Santander CC to clear my argos card so a balance transfer CC, all accepted and waiting to transfer.

Now I need to use a CC to make some purchases, and my question is if I applied for a new CC with 0% interest for 18 months (Tesco) does this 0% apply to all purchases within the 18 months? or just the very first purchase? or what?

If I was accepted and the credit limit was less than I would like, how long before I could ask for it to be increased?

Sorry if this is stupid question, thank you for your time

Is this an Argos storecard or an Argos credit card? If the former, you might not be able to transfer that.

Anything you buy on the card will be 0% until the date which is 18 months from account opening.

Probably at least 6 months, maybe more. Your chances of success will depend on how you've used the card, how much you've been repaying each month, and the balance at the request date (ie how far away from the limit you are).
