for example if i click in a word to correct a mistake it always makes the word go blue like when you delete the whole word in one go. i end up clicking 2 or 3 times to get the blue off. i have deleted whole words by accident many times because of this. it makes posting in places like this a chore. also i am finding when i check an email to delete and hit delete the next email below that wasnt checked goes as well and i have to restore it.

at least try a new mouse to see if it's the hardware.
also could try updating your mouse driver, possiblyFriendly greeting!0 -
If you are left-handed it could be that you are accidentally clicking twice because of the design of the mouse.0

Try going to Control Panel and selecting Mouse ... you may then see a link to Mouse and Keyboard Centre ... check that you haven't assigned a double click function to the left button.... You are very likely moving the mouse very slightly when you press down to click. This will trigger the Select function.
When you click the button be careful to keep the mouse absolutely still....just use your fingertip and not any other muscles in your hand or wrist.0 -
Not a Logitech wireless mouse by any chance? left switch has a habit of developing a double click mentality. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
