mis selling on critical illness insurance policy

Hi i have had 2 policies running with the halifax both on my mortgage both had critical illness and death.but no one explained at the time that i didn't need both these policies have been going since 1998 is there any way of claiming on both policies of mis selling?

Why dont you think you dont need them? Are you immortal? are you never going to suffer illness?

You can have as many policies as you like. A lot of people (married/partners or families) will have multiple policies. One of the mortgage, one for the family/income/pension replacement. Sometimes you will even have 3 or 4.
