Johnsons Cleaners ruined my sisters Uggs!!

My sister took in her Uggs for dry cleaning at her local Johnsons dry cleaners at a cost of £35 back in October.
They 'cleaned' them, but now they don't stand anymore. She's only worn them a dozen times so she's really disappointed.
She wrote for compensation, and they've offered her £110 in total. Her Uggs cost £150 so I'm not sure how it works. I thought they would have to replace them?

I'd bite their hand off.0

It's a good offer. Their legal liability is restricted to their secondhand value.0
-
£150 when new, presumably she has worn them for a while before the dry cleaning?, sounds like they are offering 50% for wear and tear and then the money back for the clean0
-
And she gets to keep the boots.0

uggs that have gone saggy? now there's a first!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

Kerching!!! Take the money.
Top tip: get rid of your old dirty smelly uggs - take them to Johnsons for dry cleaning. They'll come back saggy - see how much you can get0 -
Explain how they don't stand.its sheepskin , I can't visualize this.0

I would accept that £110 like a shot.
Did she spray her boots with protector before she wore them?
If she decides to get another pair, I'd recommend she do that.0 -
£110, good, there are lots of fake sites around and about, she can get probably a dozen similar pairs for that, then take them to the Boot Washers, and clean them up.0

£110 bite their hand off. Why does it matter if the boots don't stand (I presume you mean when they are not worn), your friends legs will stop them falling over.0
