Bought a Samsung tv in November last year which has suddenly developed a green streak across the screen. Am contacting retailer tomorrow but don`t know what my rights are. Can I ask for replacement or refund or can they insist on repair. Any advice appreciated

You can ask, they can say no.
They will likely repair, depending on who you bought from might depend on their approach, they are obligated to deal with the situation for you, in saying that it is sometimes better to deal with the manufacturer.
Where did you buy from?0 -
I bought it from Tesco. Have got reciept0

They will most likely repair - maybe give them a call first and discuss it with them rather than having to lug it in store...0
