Hi
I got a letter through the post for parking fine from parking eye.
I had parked and the ticket had not printed my reg properly. Paid for 3 hours.
Paperwork from P.E. shows in car park for 3 hours 13 mins. 12.35.40 to 15.49.39
My ticket was from 12.37. I am pretty impressed that I managed to park and get a ticket within 2 minutes of parking. I am not the lightest on my feet and I can't park to save my life.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

the camera takes your picture as you enter the car park the entrance, not when you park up , it also takes one when your vehicle exits the car park at the exit too0 -

When you get their rejection - check if POPLA code included
Appeal to POPLA - with forum guidance and win!
Complain to retailer/landowner - angry customer to get charge cancelled - do this in tandom with formal appeal.
- Do you have a long term disability - affecting mobility because this could raise a claim under the Equality ActI am not the lightest on my feet and I can't park to save my life.0 -

Sounds like their P&D machine wasn't calibrated with the same time as the cameras. Quelle surprise!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would like to thank the above posters. I today received the response from my letter to Parking Eye informing me that a ticket was purchased but the incorrect reg was put in so they were letting it go.
You were all very helpful and helped to put my mind at rest.

You are welcome
but probably the reason why they let it go was because they identified you from your first post , realised you are getting help from us, and thought sod it no point spending time and money on chasing you and going to popla, because they always lose there when we help the motorist When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
