cheap energy club question?

my tariff with edf energy ends in april, if it takes up to 6 weeks to change providers will the cheap energy club alert me in time as to the best energy provider to change to? bit worried as its nearly end of feb.

    Does it alert you when a tariff ends? I think not. Not surprisingly, most of us on the edf tariff ending this April are looking at a hefty rise. e.g. edf 2017 tariff is about +35%

    if they only alert you when there's a cheaper tariff then that seems a bit stupid as prices are going up all the time..if i now have to go and search there doesn't seem to be much point in having the club at all.

    Er I think that's its raison d'etre. Haven't a clue what happens at the end of a capped tariff. Surprised nobody else has chipped in.
    Changing the subject - you're with edf - what % increase are you looking at? (makes me wonder if we should have changed a couple of months ago:-(
