The printer was printing lovely then we printed some labels and a couple got stuck inside the machine. We managed to remove them but we are left with a printer that prints what looks almost like a voiceprint tracing on one side of the paper in black whatever we are printing. If you run off a couple of prints the next one comes through almost OK, but then this repeats for the next print.
We have tried putting cleaning sheets through it, we have removed everything we can remove and checked it all, we can find nothing wrong with it!
Has anyone got any ideas please.

did all the labels come out ok?
there maybe some glue residue stuck on one of the drums or the transfer unit.0 -
check the fuser drum, it may be hot http://www.manualslib.com/download/237144/Epson-Aculaser-C900.html!!

Thank you for your replies.
Labels all came out and everything in the path has been cleaned, everything removable has been checked and is OK as far as we can tell.
If the fuser unit was hot would the tracing not continue printing rather than stop printing after two or three prints?
One thing I did not say is that this also happens on blank copies. Print a blank page and you get the "voiceprint" like printing on the page. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
fuser is always hot during use.
if there are marks, something (label or glue or drum damage) is causing them, and the fuser or toner drum is the obvious place to check - it's not clear if 'everything removable' includes these parts, and the full circumference - the drum is very delicate, any cleaning damage may show up on prints!!

print 1 page, and just as the page starts to come out quickly and gently open the printer lid and you should see the where the issue is and the paper path taken.
carefully remove the paper, do not yank it
Usually it is either on the drum (cartridge) or on the fuser0
