ombudsman final decision

hi, hope yous can help i got a letter about 7/8wks ago from the financial ombudsman saying that they uphold our claim against lloyds bank, as yet we havent heard anything from the bank, how long does it usually take them to contact you, we know we had 4 accounts that had ppi on them but no idea how much any of them were for, will the bank tell us these amounts or just send us a payment without a breakdown.Also someone said that the as its taken two month there is a chance that the bank has appealed against the ombudsman decision which could take at least another year to solve.I thought that the ombudsman decision was final,,,,please help my head is spinning :

Only the Ombudsman Service can tell you if the Bank have appealed the initial decision. Initially an FOS adjudicator will have looked at your complaint, but if the Bank have indeed appealed then an actual Ombudsman will have the final say.

It's also possible the Bank are just being tardy in responding to the decision.

Regardless, don't be counting any pennies just yet…..
