MoneySavingExpert.com is a free site - you cannot pay to buy advertising space - one of the reasons why so many people use it! Equally, you're not allowed to advertise any goods, services and/or companies anywhere on the forum, or through private messages, no matter how honourable your intentions.
'Advertising' includes touting for business; asking people to contact you; posting e-mail addresses which indicate a web address; linking to sites or blogs you or friends are involved with (whether you’re selling something or not); or linking to your eBay or other auction sales.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
thats two self promos from regulars today
i think the half term has gone to their headsWhat goes around-comes around0 -
There are three "regular" posters who only post RC comps who are definitely either the blog owner, a family member, or a friend of the blogs they post
I sometimes now pull people up about it on the comp board, I tell them if they continue to post blog dupes the blogs will be banned which they will.
It's just so silly people risk their own MSE membership plus their sites will be banned
Then at the other end we have people wanting us not to post their comps. Lifes funny sometimesThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -

I think its pretty obvious sometimes that some members post their own comps here and its rare for someone to moan about that which is a bit hypocritical. As for the OP i also have no problem with sites posting their own comps on here. No different than posting comps here without asking the sites first and nobody gets outraged about that. As it is, its a rule of the forum and so shouldn't happen but sometimes wonder why some normal members get so angry and involved with it when it really doesn't affect them personally. Certainly shouldn't affect them enough to be outraged by it. Click the report button if that floats your boat on a regular basis but no need to get all het up.August-September 2017: Lots of stuff

Hi,no biggie but I was not aware that we had to ask permission from sites to post comps to here.
Do you have a link to the MSE text please for clarification.
I do recall a post stating that we could not post a comp when asked to do so by a company.I will try & get the link for that.
Some details here.
