    We're currently on the Abu-Dhabi/Dubai/Ajman trip.
    Same as most others, cheap initial trip and I guess they make their money from the excursions.
    None are compulsory; you could say the factory trips between locations kinda are, but these are free and you could always stay on the bus instead, and if not you don't have to buy anything (you WILL get ripped off), just leave most of your cash on the bus and ignore the hard sell.
    But, overall the entire trip is fantastic. We bought all the excursions and we're glad we did.

    M sister and husband went on the Cyprus one - flight from Bham to Manchester then one wards through another airport took 12 hours plus to arrive. They purchased extra meal package. Food was basic, trips interesting - visit to carpet factory jewellery place etc with extortionate prices. Very full itinerary they enjoyed the holiday and said they would recommend it. The hotels were nice very good value for money she said
  • Hi LutonGirl,

    I used to work in Luton at the Airport, lived near by Hemel Hempstead for 26 years. the Mrs used to run an Irish Pub there the Painters Arms in Hightown.

    OK nuff about Luton,

    So RSA travel I have a voucher just fell into my lap from a boating magazine, and tells me it'll save me 800 pounds, then i find its a bit of an old Mag, and the vouchers run out by 15 days, a but gutted but |I reckon they might honour the original saving if I phoned up later today?

    So might give that a go and will let you know how I get on.

    This almost sounds like a paid "Coach trip on Ch4 a bit of possible hard work and extra charges, but it might just be the bit of Sun break I need for this year?

    Regards,

    Martin (Portsmouth). :money::money::money::money:
  • There are plenty of tour operators available without using this one which we found dreadful, unhelpful and rude, from the call handler to the Operations Director. . My 85 year old relative booked a trip with them recently and when we needed to ask for some reasonable adjustments for him, they were unhelpful, obstructive and couldnt care less to try to make his journey simpler and easier. Happy to take his money but failed to inform him he could have joined the trip at a more conventient airport, wouldnt give us the reference information we needed to change his arrangements with the airline and refused to contact them themselves. Maybe ok for those without special needs but a heartless and uncaring response for those who do!
