Thumbs up for Southern Energy

We recently had our gas bill (on DD and overpaid by £75) and our electricity bill (not on DD and £300 due). After hearing all the nightmares and not really having the cash to pay the electric (partly because we have over-paid on gas) I gave them a call. They were very happy to transfer the gas over-payment to the electricity bill and adjust the direct debit on the gas so it didn't happen again. They also set us up on DD for electricity and agreed they would take the balance due on this bill over the next 12 months,starting in March. So, nothing to pay now.

I'm very pleased with that. Very impressed with the service to be honest.
