I've just recently acquired an ipad mini and was wondering if I should take out an insurance to cover accidental damage/theft that sort of thing.
If yes what's the recommendation go with Apple £79 for two years an add on to house insurance, if available or are there any independent deal available ?

I would check your current house insurance contents policy as I would have thought it would already be covered by that, mine certainly is.
If you want cover for when away from home then the Personal Possessions section of home insurance would be the section where you should check levels of cover. This is usually an extra over and above standard house and contents insurance.0
