Livedrive Cloud Storage

I signed up for the 14 day free trial and entered card details so once the 14 days free trial was up I could use the paid service. However, I have downloaded the software onto two different PCs and the first one just went really slow and couldnt be used until the software was uninstalled and on the second one I couldnt get into the account and only had a blank screen. I cant use the storage so tried to cancel as I thought I was in my 14 day free trial but apparently Im not. My fault for not reading properly but just wondered if there were any consumer rights I could use to cancel this service and get a refund.
I have tried using technical support for Livedrive, but there is only one number and this is for Livedrive sales. If you need technical support this has to be done by raising a ticket on the Livedrive website. Despite doing this on Monday I have yet to receive any technical support from Livedrive.
I am at the stage where I am ready to just leave the money (not a great deal, £72) and buy a hard drive as Livedrive are driving me mad!
Thanks

I'm not sure I'm following - 14 days is 14 days. If you're over 14 days that's unfortunately your mistake and you'll have to pay, if you're under 14 days then they can't turn around and tell you that you can't cancel.
Which is it?0 -
£72 !!
a month or a year ??
either way thats ridiculous.0 -
I started the free trial on Friday, and wanted to cancel on the Monday as soon as the offices were open. I was told that since I had paid for the service it was no longer a free trial so I was committed to the service. I put my card details in which is common for free trials (even places like Experian do this) but have found as long as you cancel within the free trial period no money is taken. The £72 was for 2 years unlimited storage. We only went with them as this is where all my back up is currently stored and thought it would be easier to over just transfer all the files over (over 10,000 of them so quite a lot of data) but had to set up a new account rather than just change the payment details on the original account as the original account was sold by a third party (hopefully that makes sense!) Anyway, what should have been a simple task has taken up a lot of my time and patience!0
