I'm looking to buy a used ford c max and have seen some great low mileage cars with good discounts on ford retail online. Does anyone know if there's room to haggle these prices down further or are they fixed? Thanks

Do you mean Ford Direct ? I think most of their cars are ex-employees cars. Any price is worth haggling over.0

Hi
No it's not ford direct. It's an online only dealer.0 -
Reading their Q&As it does infer that the price is set but you could always try. Looks a good site so may try myself as they have a nice black Focus auto that's considerably cheaper than my local Ford dealer.0

Thank you. That's what it looked like to me too but their section on haggling is ambiguous to say the least!0

How did you get on?
Did they "provide you with a service level that will make you happyand want to buy from us again"?
Just seems to be an online portal to Dagenham Motors, who also trade under the following Ford dealership names depending on location:
Polar
Brunel
Heartlands

Still makes me think of cheap chinese websites selling fakes. But pretending to be the real company.
Especially when registered to a UK individual and not Ford.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
We purchased a car on line from DirectFord (part of the Arnold Clark group, NOT Ford Direct) back in 2008. The car was 3 months old and was billed as one of their Ex-Managers car. After about 6 months a large area of the rear wing paintwork started to go crackly. It was clear this area had been resprayed at sometime during the 3 months before we got it. When we contacted DirectFord they simply denied it had had any work done as there was none documented on their records and accused us of causing the damage. Now, 6 years on we are finally getting round to having the damage sorted and resprayed and it is having to be stripped back to bare metal which has revealed a load of filler in the panel.
Please DO NOT buy a used car from these people. They have told a pack of lies and then covered it up by not doing the paperwork. Luckily we have had no mechanical problems as a result of this accident but we do feel 'done'!0
