I think we'd all have to have read the reviews as well which I CBA doing. Why not give us some idea of what they are and people might tell you their opinions?
  • Dynamic is the standard suspension on basic models and ride height will be higher on dynamic than sport (i think 15cm)
On the sport suspension, The springs and dampers have a firmer tuning, which optimizes contact with the road surface. So better grip than standard.

We will be driving more A roads/motorways, so confused we should choose sport but would that affect resale value?

Based on the A roads/motorway comment I think I'd go for Dynamic. The sport might be a bit too stiff (unless your A road driving is, 'spirited') so you're likely to feel bumps or imperfections in the road more.

No idea on resale value I'm afraid but can't see there being a massive amount of difference.

Test drive them both, and see which YOU/she prefer.
  • Likewise can only go by reviews but many state that Sports on Audi tends to be exceptionally firm. Useful if you actually want a very sporty drive, not so good if you want a working spine or just a comfortable ride

Be careful specifying the sport option. Having had a Golf GTI previously we felt the suspension was very harsh although obviously gives good handling. Motorways are fine but town driving and poor roads will be much less comfortable.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
  • How come 99% of these sporty fantastic handling cars on their concrete springs, their white knuckled drivers perched on rock hard seats unable to grit their teeth lest their fillings shatter, don't actually corner/accelerate/brake/travel/get there any faster than anyone equally incompetent in their softly sprung shed, who arrives relaxed at exactly the same time but without their vital organs re-arranged, their eyes still flickering, and their hands stuck to the sporting steering wheel.

Definitely - the choice of suspension is a personal choice, some people prefer a firmer feel but some people don't like that at all. A lot of reviews claimed the audi s-line suspension was too firm but being used to a stiffer Seat, I found the audi too soft. I find my current car is a bit soft as well but then read various complaints from people that it's too harsh.

    I think you'll find it's 15mm difference, not 15cm (6 inches!).
I have an A1 with Sport suspension, and I do not find the ride too firm or harsh.

It all depends what you come from/ your used to as well.

I had an VW with sport suspension and that was fairly firm but I got used to it. When I switched to my new car which has adaptive suspension with a sport and comfort mode I feel its absolutely fine in both settings (tbh, I cant tell much difference between the two settings). A friend on the otherhand who has a big saloon with active suspension found my car very firm even in comfort mode.
