Bonded Warehouses

I am sizing up the opportunity to start a wine importing business and wondered if anybody here had experience with bonded warehouses and the associated costs? I am looking in the London area and struggling to find locations or prices.

Whichever company you're using for freight can probably advise. Bonded warehouses tend to cluster around ports (natch), and not be particularly cheap. May be better (if you're planning on UK market) to get the wine cleared and duty paid, then use your own secure (yet unbonded) storage.0

Can you tell me what the ballpark for "not particularly cheap" might be? I really am just starting out and have no idea.0
