Morning all
Hubby's been dropped at work, I'm expecting a visitor this morning for a natter, when she's gone I'm going to try & get a key cut.
Spag bol or cottage pie for tea, I've cooked the mince, it's enough for both meals, I'll see what hubby wants when he gets home.
I need to clear my kitchen table, it's buried under mound of hubby's paperwork, that's probably all I'll get done today as I'm knitting baby clothes & they are proving addictive.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,
Tru - you will be fine: it's only one lot of psyching yourself up, not the two that sedation takes. And you know we will all be sending positive vibes if you let us know when.
It's cool and grey, with damp ground here but it was a lovely calm spring day yesterday, so lovely after all the wind and rain.
SiL goes to collect the keys today; I'll be glad when they are finally in, but what a shame they will always distrust the landlord.
Off to try and find summer trousers that are not 29" inside leg - they seem impossible to capture!
Have a good day allxI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Tru - I've had four teeth out with sedation. It wasn't even given to me as an option. It wasn't that bad. Didn't feela tthing. A bit of tugging but no pain. One tooth even split I two while coming out and was very tricky.
Morning all.
Long time no see. More of a lurker these days. Like everyone else I am fed up with rain and everywhere being flooded. Up on a hill here so not affected but a lot of areas around d here. Hoping the park isn't too bad as i want yo venture out with the boys. Youngest one is just over slap cheek and still has conjunctivitis. Oldest has a birthday coming up so arranging a party for him. Expensive
Trying to be OS but rarely successfulds made pizza from scratch on Monday. Hubby took leftovers to work yesterday. He made play dough and spag bol yesterday.
Plan today is to get wellies on and for a run around the park after lunch. Fingers crossed for sunshine! Sandwiches for lunch and jacket spuds for dinner with few different choices of toppings. Ham, cheese, tuna or beans probably.

Morning everyone,
Tru I have had many fillings without anaesthetic, it is much easier if you force yourself to relax (easier said than done!)
Molly, Hilstep, Snoozer, NPM Hugs.
Islandmaid That dress is absolutely beautiful, I too am 5' 2" and I had a simple long dress for my wedding.
LW Do you still have furry visitors?
Essexgirl Enjoy your night out
Day at home today. I have friends coming over for tea and cake this morning (better make the cakes!) and I am going to tidy the kitchen cupboards this afternoon.
I also have presents to wrap as it is DS's 18th birthday tomorrow, where did the time go?
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Morning all,
Sat in bed with Eric and Ernie (cats) and a coffee - luxury....
Have to take DS2 to dentist for a check up - TRU you are braver than me, I nearly need sedation to walk through their door
Thanks for the comments re: wedding dresses yesterday CAMALOT - I agree about the mother of the bride bit, and that frock was quite demure - must be some racey mothers out there who want to complete with their daughters... I have decided to try and find a tea length 50's style dress to try on and then go from there, worried about looking like a loo roll dolly - being a shorty
HoneyB - hope your day goes well x
Ooh teenage zombie (son) just appeared at the door - best feed it and throw it in the bathroom before Dentist
Hugs to all xNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I feel that I'm earning my OS credentials today. I think a big reason DH was resistant to the piano is that the ivory keys are very dirty and stained so I googled cleaning them and found Brasso being recommended by a piano restorer. They seem to be coming up really well with a bit of elbow grease. I've also booked the tuner for a months time and need to look into getting the top restored where someone has had a plant pot! With a bit of tlc it's going to be really good I think.0

I had sedation for extractions a few times last year, love the drunk feeling
I'm having local anaesthetic for this, just not sedation. Stooopid decision on my part

Afternoon all,
Love all the wedding dress suggestions:T
Tru I had 4 teeth out just with local anaesthetic it was absolutely fine.
It's my b day Friday and we were supposed to go out for a meal but I'm really not up to it so instead the kids are treating me to a three course meal at home, one son and gf doing the starter, my dd and her fella doing the main and youngest and his gf doing the dessert. I feel very lucky.
Dh has asked what I want and I can't think of anything at all. Maybe a new handbag but I will choose it myself, he would not know where to start.
Off to my brothers for tea tonight so no cooking.
Have a good Wednesday xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Snoozer I'm jealous! Enjoy your piano; sadly my hands are far too bad for me to ever play again, but I trust you will play it once you get it cleaned up and tuned.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all,
not been around much as ive not had much to say but I can now share with you.... We have found Nan. Seems like such a hollow victory due to all the bad feeling but at least my children can visit her. Give it time and I will start going to visit her again.
