Aviva Car Insurance - Fix your renewal price

At renewal this year my premium will fall by 18%. Aviva have given me the option to fix 2015/16 to this 18% fall, if I pay £15 now.
Any thoughts on this? The £15 isn't the consideration for me, it's whether I should fix, or not.
Any thoughts gratefuly received.

Well ask yourself, is your premium ever increasing for the same car with no incidents the previous year?
I know mine isn't in fact the latest car was nearly half the price of the previous one, so paying £15 to fix at a higher rate didn't seem a prudent move.

Looking into my crystal ball, I forecast a big rise due to every car south of Birmingham having been written off due to flood damage, so I'd take the £15 offer.

Very very rare that anything comes down in price nowadays....
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

Although prices do seem to be falling slightly my (possibly over cynical) gut reaction is if an insurer want you to do it then don't

What happens if you pay the £15 and decide you want to use a different Insurer next year?
