BG EnergyExtra50 ended?

I received a letter from British Gas saying that my Energy Extra 50 has been cancelled. I'm a bit surprised because I don't remember seeing any announcement that the scheme is ceasing for existing subscribers. Has anyone else received a similar letter? (Energy Extra 50 is a scheme in which one pays 3 or 4 pounds per month in order to receive boiler or central heating repairs for a flat rate charge of £99).

i believe they have stopped selling energy extra, while the change it to an Insurance Product. I dont believe they are cancelling them.

Have you recently changed you Gas supply from British Gas, as this would automatically cancel your energy extra?
